A new life

Word from Kimmy back on the farm is that Star Saphire gave birth yesterday morning to a beautiful little beige King of the Ladies girl! That is not only the first cria of the 2011 birth class but also Kinger’s first born for CCNF (his actual first was born a couple of weeks ago at Hilltop). I would of course be ever so happy to include a picture of the little nipper this morning but alas I am sitting at a Hampton Inn in Syracuse, NY. Even technology has its limitations. All in due time.

One more short day here at the Alpaca Expo and with some luck we can be home tonight to sleep in our own bed. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend wherever you are…
