Alpaca Farm Days at CCNF

Cas-Cad-Nac Farm is pleased to announce that we will be participating in the National Alpaca Farm Days this coming weekend! Please stop by the farm either tomorrow or Sunday any time between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM. There are 250 alpacas on the farm at this writing and the pastures are filled with over 40+ playful crias born since May. Who knows: you might even get to witness an alpaca birth that very weekend!

For those of you that have not visited CCNF before, this is a chance to visit New England’s largest alpaca farm in a casual, relaxed, atmosphere. There will be snacks and refreshments provided and we (Ian and Jennifer Lutz) as well as our staff will of course be around to answer any questions you might have. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your cameras!

The easiest way to find us is from is from Interstate 91. We are located just 2.5 miles from exit 8 in Weathersfield, VT. When you get off of I-91, turn onto Rt. 131 west and drive 2.0 miles, and then turn right onto Wheeler Camp Rd. Drive to the end of the road and you’re there (well, here). We will also have signs up helping to mark the way. For those of you that might be coming directionally from the west/northwest, the turn for Wheeler Camp Rd. is 4.7 miles from the the junction of Rt. 106 and Rt. 131(on the left coming from that side!) on Rt. 131 east.

As a general guide we are 1.5 hours from Burlington, VT, 2.5 hours from Boston, MA, and 4.0 hours from NYC.
