Back on the farm…

A belated Happy New Year to all! Geez, when we left New England on 12/26 we just barely beat the first really big storm of the winter season by about 5 hours, though looking out my window right now you’d never know it. The ground has only patches of snow and in most places the “grass” is fully exposed. Though it was of course wonderful to get away for a bit, it’s also great to be back home too, even if it did entail a 12+ hour travel day yesterday so that we could have the boys back for their first day of school this morning. For now we must restock the fridge (man cannot live on shredded cheddar alone!), contemplate a full duffel of dirty laundry, and throw ourselves back into the operation here at CCNF. Regular (somewhat) alpaca related material and posting shall resume again shortly.

  1. …please, DO NOT TELL ME where you spent that time…oh for warm water on the feet, the feel of sun on the face, warm sand between the toes, soft trade winds carrying the salty invite of the ocean, a margarita or two….aaarrrggghhhhh!!!
