Breeding Specials Celebrating our 20th Year in the Month of April!

I had alluded to some special deals a while back when first blogging about the fact that 2017 marks our 20th year in the alpaca business. Well, with the upcoming North American and Northeast Expo double show now just some 10 days away in Springfield, MA, shenanigan time is officially upon us! Yours truly has a particular fondness for shenanigan time by the way, as it often involves beer and wine. Though that, I suppose, is another story.

Anyway, in recognition of Cas-Cad-Nac Farm’s 2 decades of alpaca breeding, throughout the month of April we will be offering all stud services to our fully-owned Herdsires at a 20% discount! That is a list that includes Futurity Champions CCNF Centurion, CCNF Magistrate, and Spirit Wind’s Maestro – all of whom, not coincidentally, will have progeny in our show pens at the NAAS/NAE.  Also included are our Champion Herdsires CCNF Precipice, CCNF Sucrose, CCNF Antares, CCNF Spittfire, CCNF Dropshot, and our young up and coming Elixir/Majesty hybrid, CCNF Dreadnought. In many cases these males represent the next-generation improvement and/or refinement of their famous and now closed sires. While we are of course the first to recognize that our regular stud fees aren’t always approachable for some, we feel like this represents a chance to get some pretty exciting genetics at a serious discount that would normally only apply if someone were paying for many stud services in one whack.

The tedious but necessary fine print: though the stud service can take place later, all stud service contracts MUST be signed by the end of April 2017 in order to qualify for the 20% discount and must include a 50% deposit of the total stud fee. All breedings unless otherwise noted, include 60 days board for the customer’s female and any cria at her side up to 6 months of age at CCNF, with board charged at $4/day thereafter. Transportation to and from CCNF of the customer’s alpaca(s) is the sole responsibility of said customer.
