When Dark Angel was born we initially thought we had a brown cria, though as she has matured and more white fibers have come into her fleece it has become clear that she will end up riding that line between being an indefinite dark or a modern grey. Though on paper one could argue that Dark Angel’s first breeding should indeed go to Royal Ring of Fire (as advertised in the catalog) based upon Ringo’s small but rather illustrious history with grey offspring, there would also be a good case for taking her back to either Snowmass Andean Bronze, CCNF Cameron, or Cam’s son Silken Damask given the colored genetics available there. In any case that first breeding to any unrestricted CCNF Herdsire is included and making the choice will be a lovely little dilemma for her new owner to have!
