Cas-Cad-Nac Farm’s Consignments at the 2010 National Elite Alpaca Auction: Lot #1 CCNF Eternity

In the run-up to the 2010 National Elite Alpaca Auction & Halter Show, which is being held November 6th & 7th at Heritage Place in Oklahoma City this year, we will be taking some short breaks (13 to be exact) from my usual ramblings to highlight our consignments to this, the 4th edition of the NEAA. I will list all of our females (10) and males (3 ) by their actual lot # in the sale catalog/order starting at the front of the line so to speak.  As one of the co-hosts (an honor we share with Virginia Alpaca Farm & Breeding Co.) of the Elite as well as the resident 600 lb. gorilla it falls to us, as it has for the past three years, to lead off the sale. So without further ado I am happy to present Lot #1, CCNF Eternity…

CCNF Eternity

This fantastic Messiah daughter is the full sibling of CCNF Infinity, our foundation female who was a Reserve Champion at the 2007 AOBA National Fleece Show. Of course as with most alpacas of that caliber these sisters come by their superlatives not by chance but through a depth of genetic excellence. Eternity’s dam, Trinity, is the daughter of our Champion Augusto son, Snowmass Snow King, though perhaps just as importantly she is also the daughter of the famous Snowmass/CCNF foundation female PPeruvian Elizabeth. The fact that Eternity’s niece , CCNF Pixie (her older sister’s first cria, sired by Archangel) was out on the 2010 spring show circuit winning blue ribbons for us just serves as a further exclamation point on this line’s continued development and quality. Not wanting redesign the wheel we are offering this tremendous female bred to the indefatigable Archangel. Eternity was bred with Arch on 6/15 and the resulting pregnancy is progressing normally for a projected due date in mid May 2011!
