CCNF Jocelyn, Lot #3 at the Parade of Champions!

Following on from Tuesday’s formal announcement of our consignment of CCNF Bellatrix (Lot #27), today we present the lovely Ms. Jocelyn, also consigned to the POC, this time as lot #3! Jocelyn likewise stands out as another first: in this case, the first offspring we have ever offered for sale sired by our Herdsire, CCNF Privateer! The Parade of Champions auction — on the off chance that you’ve been living under a rock of late — is to be held June 2nd & 3rd at Little Creek Farm in North Salem, NY.

Her sire, Privateer, is the sole working son of our Futurity Champion (now deceased), Spirit Wind’s Maestro, and who, just as importantly, is the maternal offspring of CCNF Nutmeg of Consolation and thus, the maternal grandson of SHRA Virtual’s Reality.

On her maternal side, CCNF Jocelyn has it going on as well, as a card-carrying member of the Margaux/Marguerite line (with some delicious Elixir mixed in for good measure) who are all descendants of the mighty 5Peruvian Margarita, one of the undeniable genetic linchpins we trace our breeding program’s origin story back to. In short, Jocelyn and her pedigree represent a fairly unique genetic profile at a time and place where that’s not easily found. Btw, did I mention that she’s also really nice, which when push comes to shove is obviously the reason buyers should be interested in the first place?
