CCNF Results from the PAOBA Breeder’s Showcase Fleece Show
Here is another batch of results from the 2nd of the spring fleece shows we were in back in May. PAOBA marked the final show for all of these fleeces, all of which were from the 2012 clip. No surprise, the big names continued to do quite well in spite of the wear and tear of this being, in some cases, the 4th time that they had been exhibited.
So what do we do with our retired show fleeces? Most if not all of them (minus small samples we retain for our records) will now either be sold to the good folks at Our Back 40 yarn company or milled locally here by us (and by “us” I mean our partners Ed & Deb Bratton and our wonderful staff) at the Vermont Fiber Mill & Studio!
It is worth noting that the fleece show at PAOBA was not large enough to split males out from females, so that any of our females listed below had to beat out the boys as well! In any case without further ado, CCNF’s 1st place finishers, Champions, Reserve Champions, etc…from the PAOBA fleece show:
