CCNF Sweet Confection: Lot #10 at The Futurity Sale!

We are proud to announce that our white yearling show female, CCNF Sweet Confection, will be offered as lot #10 at the upcoming 2018 Futurity Sale, to be held on April 14 in Kansas City, MO! Sired by 2017 Futurity Herdsire of the Year, CCNF Elixir, and out of our 6Peruvian Monarch daughter, Sugar Snow, Sweet Confection comes straight out of our show string. It is not by chance that we have chosen to offer her at the very venue where originally both her sire (Elixir was the 2012 Futurity Light Champion & JC Huacaya Male as a young lad) and then she herself, along with her paternal siblings, made a statement last year, not only helping Elixir to garner both Light and Large Breeder Herdsire of the Year, but also to win the ultra-competitive light Get-of-Sire class itself. It probably wasn’t a fluke. 😉

The Futurity Sale has typically been one where serious breeders go to both buy and sell true foundation breeding stock, and it is arguably the most discriminating set of auction buyers one can put animals in front of. The idea of an alpaca auction — and this auction especially — is pretty simple: consign something special, something that will help move the genetic ball down the field and hopefully be rewarded for it. We feel that Sweet Confection is just that and we are proud to have her representing both her Champion sire and the Cas-Cad-Nac Farm breeding program.
