Elixir’s first cria at CCNF!

How slammed have we been the past few days? Well the news in question is 48 hours old and here I am just getting it out there now! It was only fitting that on the day that our crown prince, CCNF Elixir, came back to us for the summer breeding season after wintering at A Paca Fun Farm down in Maryland, that his first cria ever here was also born!

Truly Scrumptious, whom we had purchased from the herd of our friends at Tripping Gnome Farm a couple of years ago was the mom in question and to say that we are excited by the early returns from her little girl would be an understatement. She is either a very light beige (like her sire) or white though time will of course settle that question one way or the other. In any case, she’s built like a wee tank, and has gobs of soft, bright, and highly organized fleece. Never a bad place to start. Her working name for now is CCNF True Adoration. The fact that she’s one of those neonates that comes running up to you in an engaging way is of course making it all that much more fun!
