Hibachi Christmas Party!

Let’s face it: nothing says “Merry Christmas” like having a Japanese hibachi chef chuck a piece of raw zucchini at your head. Last night was the 2010 addition of the farm’s Christmas party and for the 5th year running we took the 20-strong extended CCNF family to Koto Steakhouse in West Lebanon, NH.

For my part, I learned that while 3 sushi rolls may be doable if you’re really hungry, 4 is just way more protein than any human can expect to consume in one sitting. Thankfully our friend/nanny, Jen Esposito (that’s her in front with her own little guy, Dylan), bailed me out by taking my leftovers home. In any case all the little ones were home and in bed by 9PM. Maybe just maybe we are starting to moderate ourselves in our middle age. Sounds good anyway…
