The End (of birthing season) is Near!

So after 55+/- births we are down to our final 10 due females of the 2010 birthing season. We still have a few late August girls (using 11 months as general guideline) that are holding out on us but births have otherwise been generally arriving on schedule, with the last stragglers due in early November. I’ll wait to make any general pronouncements about this year’s birth class until we’re all done though. In the mean time the first bursts of of reds, oranges, and yellows are starting to appear on the mountain and as well as other nearby ridge lines. Cue the the tour buses and the zoom lenses and all hail dead leaf season!
