The first Dreadnought crias have arrived!

Left to right, the Dreadnought crias born to Reality (CCNF Acomani x CCNF Centurion) and Dorianna (CCNF Lilah x Beethoven’s Dorian).

We are excited to announce that the first two crias sired by CCNF Dreadnought — 2017 AOA National Fleece Show Champion Fawn Male and 2018 Futurity RC Fawn Male — were both born here over the past week, one a dark fawn/light brown boy to our maiden female, CCNF Reality, and the other, a beautiful light fawn male born to Colonial Alpacas’ most recent acquisition (congrats and thanks to Dell Rodman!), CCNF Dorianna, whose previous cria was the 2018 Futurity Champion Fawn Huacaya Female, Lyanna!

By my count that leaves 16 more Dreaders to be born here at his birth farm before the end of the season and if the early returns are any indication, things are definitely looking up! Dreadnought is of course available for outside stud service and there will also be females appearing on our sales listings already bred to this exceptional young Herdsire. Stay tuned!
