Vegas Baby!
We are proud to officially announce our participation in the upcoming Priority Alpaca Auction, taking place on Jan 25th & 26th in Las Vegas, NV! Having checked out the sale a couple of years ago just as attendees, we know what a first class event Silver Penn Sales and TnT Farms puts on there. The Priority will in fact mark our first foray back onto an auction stage since 2011, so we are really pumped! We have had the three females listed below pegged for this sale almost since they were weaned from their dams and collectively they represent a comprehensive cross section of some our farm’s most potent genetics. Though we offer the same guarantees when selling our alpacas at auction that we do when selling them privately off of the farm, for the first time ever we are offering more flexible financing options at the Priority as an added incentive to bidders. While we would obviously like as many folks as possible to come out to the sale in person to actually put their hands on our alpacas, we also understand that sometimes getting away isn’t easy between farm and family responsibilities. In those cases absentee bidding is always an option, so please either contact us (802-263-5740 or alpacas@cas-cad-nacfarm.com) or Silver Penn Sales (724-554-2013 or info@silverpennsales.com) to help arrange that. We would obviously be more than happy to also answer any and all questions about our consignments as well! In any case, without further adieu I give you Cas-Cad-Nac Farm’s three consignments to the 2012 Priority:
CCNF Valencia, Lot #12 Unquestionably one of our top crias born in 2011, Valencia is a brown CCNF Avenger kid out of our Futurity Champion Ring of Fire daughter, CCNF Orange Blossom Special. As a juvenile member of our fall 2012 show string, she acquitted herself in her first two shows ever with a couple of blue ribbons and a Reserve Championship! Valencia still has a spring show season in her so we would encourage folks to buy her, show her, and then send her back to us for her breeding next summer or fall. As it is, she sells with her first breeding to any CCNF Herdsire as well as a full reproductive and live birth guarantee. We will urge her new owners to consider matching her up with Snowmass Matrix Majesty, our Futurity Champion and Reserve Herdsire of the Year. It was Valencia’s dam after all who when bred to Majesty made one of our most impressive crias of 2012, her little brother, CCNF Kona.
CCNF Tulip, Lot # 39 Tulip is a beige daughter of our signature Herdsire, CCNF Royal Ring of Fire and a show Champion dam, CCNF Valentine Rose. Displaying the super dense fleece we have come to expect of both her paternal line as well as that of her famous maternal grandsire, Snowmass Legacy Gold, we have bred this typey young female to our young beige Champion, CCNF Invictus. Invictus is the son of MFI Peruvian Precocious (whom we co own with Magical Farms) and 2 time Futurity Champion — and CCNF foundation Goddess — CCNF Opal. Tulip was in fact one of the first ever confirmed pregnancies from Invictus and we have nothing but the highest expectations for the cria that she is carrying. She obviously sells with a live birth guarantee.
CCNF Solara, Lot #65 Last but certainly not least is Solara. This beautiful show girl (2 blue ribbons in her first 2 shows) is the daughter of our AOBA Champion, CCNF Solano, and a beige female named CCNF Requiem. For those keeping score at home, Requiem is the full sibling of CCNF Ascension, the female that produced 2012 Futurity Judges’ Choice winner, CCNF Elixir. So while Solara carries in her her own unique genetics by way of her sire (El Nino, Accoyo Francisco, and Snowmass Incaaccoyo Star) in looking at her and her first breeding — which is in included in her sale — the road map is pretty obvious. We would either breed her to our Futurity Champion, CCNF Matrix Majesty (who not coincidentally also sired Solara’s younger maternal brother, CCNF Missal) or perhaps even hold out for our newly minted white Champion, CCNF Defiance — a son of 3 time Herdsire of the Year, Snowmass Elite Legend — once he comes on line. Regardless, she sells with full reproductive and live birth guarantees. Like Valencia above, Solara could and should be shown again by her new owners before then sending her back to CCNF for her first breeding!
