Weekend Video Interlude

Our son, Sam, is working his way towards becoming a full-fledged commercial pilot, with over 500 hours already logged in the cockpit of various planes but when he’s home from college and has some time on his hands, he also likes to play around with his drones and do a little amateur movie making for fun. On occasion, he has been known to humor his parents’ request of some shots of the farm! This was some footage he took of the farm back in late May soon after we let members of our herd out onto spring pastures for the first time this season. The rains of May meant that things were insanely lush. For those of you that have never visited CCNF before, I think this footage definitely drives home the idea that we are Vermont hillside farm. The summit of Mt. Ascutney, on whose southern slope we sit, rises out of view approximately another 1500′ above the Arena. The rocks are plentiful but the vistas are above average! 🙂
